Raised oval area (int. dims. 50m N-S; c. 43.5m E-W) enclosed by a wide, low earthen bank (Wth 7.7m) and slight remains of a fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 0.3m). Break in bank with traces of possible accompanying causeway at NNW represents original entrance. From N-E-ESE the perimeter of the site has been destroyed as a result of the construction of a now disused railway line. A circular grass-covered feature (ext. diam. c. 50m) that is probably defined by a wide and low earthen bank that is incorporated into a field bank and townland boundary with Tullylough SW-NW is visible only on Google Earth (07/02/2019) but the enclosure and its bank can be confirmed from LiDAR coverage. It is traversed by a relict E-W field bank towards the perimeter at S, and it was first reported by Jean Charles Caillére.
