The stone facing on the exterior of the outer bank can probably be assigned to the modern period. A wide drainage trench has been dug through the outer bank at SW in recent years. Corresponding breaks in banks with accompanying causeway at SSW represents original entrance. The W half of the interior is occupied by the remains of a rectangular featureless stone building (int. dims. 16.6m NW-SE; 4.9m NE-SW), probably the remains of a house. Its entrance is not recognisable. Possible souterrain in the centre of the rath (CV023-005001-). A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
