It is accompanied by a stone head (CV025-089003-), both items having been reputedly taken from Trinity Island (CV020-077001-) (local information). This apparently late medieval head is believed to have been taken from Trinity Island (CV020-077001-) (local information) and is now lying up against the NW wall of a modern dwelling-house. It has slightly bulging eyes, prominent ears, a partly chipped nose and smiling mouth. The chin has been broken off. The head is crowned with a plain band with foliate tips. Raised oval area (int. dims. 48.8m N-S; 32.7m E-W) enclosed by three earthen banks with intermediate fosses. The inner and middle banks are very substantial and separated from each other by a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse. The outer fosse is absent at W and its enclosing outer bank identifiable only at SE. Corresponding breaks in banks with accompanying causeways at ESE represents original entrance.
