Not marked on OS 1836 or 1876 eds. Largely destroyed. Only the foundations are identifiable today. Described by Richardson (1939, 35) as a small subcircular drystone-built structure (int. dims. c. 1.9m x c. 1.5m). The corbelled roof was closed by a single slab and at a height of c 0.8m and set within the walls there were a series of aperatures which were presumably flues for the smoke. The doorway was c. 0.5m high and c. 0.7m wide. A circular well (diam. 3m), enclosed by a low drystone wall, lies 12m to SW. Site is densely overgrown with vegetation. Not marked on any OS ed. Identified in 1955 by workmen quarrying for road-building material. Examined by Ó Ríordáin (1957, 53-9) in the same year. He found that the cairn was originally circular in plan (diam. c. 18m; H c. 2.5m) and had contained at least four cists, three of which had been, destroyed before he had a chance to record them (CV002-015002-). Ó Ríordáin discovered two inverted food vessels at the N end of the surviving cist and three other food vessels from what was believed to have been the largest of the destroyed cists. Ó Ríordáin (1957, 53-9) discovered at least four cists within Termon cairn (157), three of which had been destroyed before he had a chance to record them. However, three food vessels were recovered from what was apparently the largest of the destroyed cists. These contained flecks of cremated bone. The fourth was subrectangular in plan (dims. 0.68m N-S; 0.43m E-W) and contained two inverted food vessels covering cremated remains. 'Further scraps of cremated bone were later found at the S end of the cist, some of them lying in the space between the S end slab and the floor slab'. Not visible at ground level. Rectangular church (int. dims. 20.8m E-W; 5.8m N-S) constructed of roughly coursed limestone blocks and rubble. Beam-holes in N and S walls at W end of church are almost certainly for carrying a loft. Large blocks of masonry in W wall possibly belong to an earlier church. Remaining features include a three-light round-headed window with glazing-bar holes, in E gable, small plain flat-headed windows in N and S walls of nave, and small round-headed windows in N and S walls of chancel. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
