Named 'Tonwaun Fort (Site of)' on the Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. All that survives is a small triangular area (15m ENE-WSW; 15m NNW-SSE) defined by loose stones from field-clearance. In the centre of the triangle is a T-shaped arrangement of drystone field-walls (8m NE-SW; 8m NW-SE; H 0.5m), with another short wall (L 1m) extending NW from near the W end.
