On inspection in 2000 the monument was not visible at ground level and an active quarry lay immediately to the W. The monument has since been completely quarried out. On inspection in 2000 this was a subcircular, grass- and hazel-covered area (int. dims. 29m WNW-ESE; 26 m NNW-SSE) on a slight shelf towards the bottom of an E-facing slope, defined by a stone spread (Wth 2.8-5.3m; int. H 0.8-1.3m; ext. H 0.3-1m). Facing stones were intermittently visible (original Wth 2m at E). An active quarry c. 100m to the W has since been extended and the monument has been completely removed. A circular area (diam. 35.7m WNW-ESE; 35m NNE-SSW) planted with mature deciduous trees, defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.4-6.3m; int. H 0.6-1m S-N to 1.8m at E; ext. H 1.4m at NE to 2-2.5m generally), with external stone facing on the upper face of the bank WNW-ENE. There is no visible fosse, but the stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.4m) is at ESE.
