According to local information, levelled 1974-1984 during land reclamation. In marshy scrubland. No visible surface trace of site. May be 'quadrangular' fort (48yds x 43yds) on Denis O'Sullivan's land, described by Bowman (1934, 374) as double-ramparted with outer rampart removed and fosse infilled; possible souterrain (13326) in NE quadrant. Second fort (12934) is described by Bowman (ibid.) as separate but entering into SW corner of quadrangular fort. Lean-to addition against SE gable. Two-storey 2-bay addition to rear making overall plan L-shaped. Two-storey, 1-bay gable-ended addition on SE side of rear addition, with ground-floor door.
