Second stone, 1.85m to NE, is 0.7m L, 0.3m T and 1.3m H. Stones appear to have been aligned NNE-SSW. Described by Colm Chambers as 'located at an altitude of 150—160m OD, on the south side of a large rock outcrop above the Sullane River, which flows about 500m to the north. The surrounding terrain is uncultivated, consisting of rocky outcrops with a patchy cover of gorse, grasses and boggy areas. There is a wide aspect to the south and south-west along with views of the Paps and Mullaghanish mountains to the north-west, north and north-east. The monument is known locally as Follaig Na Gabhar, which translates as ‘the neglected place of the goat’ or ‘the hiding place of the goat’. A megalithic tomb (CO069-077----) was recorded in 1898 in the adjoining townlands of Rahoonagh East and Rahoonagh West as ‘… a large cromleac’ (Murphy, 1898, 15; Power el al., 1997, 9). However, the site has not been identified and the ‘cromleac’ described by Murphy may be the wedge tomb discussed here. The tomb is aligned towards an unrecorded standing stone 25m to the south-south-west. The standing stone (CO069-091----) is about 1.5m tall, 0.6m wide at the base and tapers sharply at its top. Vertical lines of quartz stripe the stone. The long face of the standing stone is orientated in the direction of the wedge-tomb. A stone pair (CO069-020) stand 100m to the west of the tomb. The monument’s long axis runs from the north-north-east to south-south-west and is 4.02m in length. It consists of a simple box-like chamber measuring 2m by 2m, the walls of which narrow towards the north-north-east. This chamber consists of a single upright slab on the south-south-west and east-south-east sides, two upright slabs form the west-north-west wall and a partially collapsed slab encloses the chamber to the north-north-east. There is an opening to the chamber at the east-north-east corner. Two slabs cover this chamber. At the north-north-east the monument is buried in a cairn and is heavily overgrown. Large stones fill the space between the tomb and a rock outcrop to the north-west.'
