Lines of low uninscribed stones; earliest noted headstones date to late 19th century. Still in occasional use. New church built immediately to NW of yard in 1842; now roofless. In centre of graveyard (CO114-026001-) ruins of parish church (L c. 23m, Wth c. 7m); according to Downes, church measured '50ft. x 16ft.' (Lunham 1909, 166) but Webster gives '72ft. x 18ft.' (Webster 1932, 286). Three ivy-clad sections of walling stand: N half of E gable and adjacent section of N wall, and two sections of S wall. Door probably where S wall now ends. Two windows in S wall, a central E window and window near E end of N wall; no light details. Church in ruins by 1615 (Brady 1863, Vol. 2, 522) but 'greater parts of walls are standing' in 1700 (Lunham 1909, 166). Replaced by plain rectangular church (12.4m SW-NE; 7.8m SE-NW), built immediately NW of graveyard, in 1842; now roofless with ruined porch against W gable. In Kilnamanagh graveyard (vol. 1, no. 3118). According to local tradition, this was the site of an early Christian monastery 'Cill na Manach' (The Church of the Monks) from which the parish of Kilnamanagh derived its name. Also, according to local tradition, the ruined church (vol. 1, no. 3118), which is in the S sector of the graveyard, is on the site of the monastic settlement. As part of this tradition, funerals to the graveyard proceed around the church ruins before the coffin is placed in the grave. Ruined structure along SE elevation. Remains of structure to S. Pump Ho.: Early 19th century; foundations visible adjacent to mine shaft. Mining Structures: c. 50m NE of engine house, late 19th century, 3-bay,single-storey dwelling (6.75m NE-SE; 4.75m NE-SE); chimney flue exposed internally. Partially destroyed, early 19th century structure (9.1m E-W; 4.7m N-S) c. 30m to SE. Mining Settlement: to SW of mining complex, ruined early 19th century settlement, known locally as "Cornish Colony". Remains consist of partially collapsed range of 2-storey dwellings on S side with renovated house at W end; remains of 2-storey structure known locally as "School house" on W side. Powder Magazine: early 19th century roofless enclosing structure (7.4m E-W; 6m N-S; H c. 6m) to S of mining settlement; D-shaped plan built around square roofless gabled magazine (9.2m E-W; 4.2m N-S; H 2m). In rough hill pasture, at the S end of a N-S hollow which is sheltered by outcropping rocks to the E and W. According to local information, this natural flat-topped boulder (2m N-S; 1.9m E-W; H 1.05m), which is roughly square in plan, was used as a mass-rock. This area is known as 'Cúm an Aifrinn'.
