Near the NW corner of a pasture field on a SE-facing slope overlooking the mouth of Bantry Bay. A grass-covered earthen scarp (L 21m; Wth 0.6m; H 0.1-0.7m) S-W forms an arc defining an area known locally as 'the lios' which is believed may be the remains of a rath. The rest of this field has been reclaimed and tilled, but this corner has not been interfered with. A children's burial ground (CO127-038002-) is located within this arc. In the course of reconstruction work in the farmyard some years ago the ground collapsed revealing underground passages (H c. 1.25m). It was not possible to examine the passages and they were subsequently covered over. A possible rath (CO127-038001-) and a children's burial ground (CO127-038002-) lie c. 100m to the SSW. The holy well consists of a roughly circular water-filled depression (0.4m N-S; 0.35m E-W; D 0.35m) in the peaty soil. A cross-inscribed stone (CO127-046001-) covers most of the well. Known as 'St Michael's well', rounds were made here up to recent times on 25th September. Four small recently made wooden crosses lie on the ground 1m to the E. The penitential station consists of a roughly oval gorse and grass-covered cairn (4.2m N-S; 3.1m E-W; H 0.5m) of mainly small stones, many of which are quartz. Larger quartz stones are visible intermittently along the perimeter. While making rounds at the holy well (CO127-046----), which is 8m to the S, pilgrims placed stones on this cairn. In a rough pasture field, on a NE-facing slope overlooking Ballydonegan Bay. A standing stone (1.1m x 0.4m; H 1.5m) orientated NE-SW was recorded at this location in May 1992. The standing stone, a field boundary and some surface stones have since been removed. There are no visible remains of the standing stone at this location.
