In rough grazing, c. 85m S of stream. Undulating grass-covered area (c. 14m E-W) containing mounds of burnt material (max. H 0.6m), and intervening waterlogged depressions. Second fulacht fiadh (10544) c. 200m to NE. Probably one of ten fulachta fiadh (see 10547) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 397-8). Platform (H 0.55m), with shallow fosse (D 0.4m) to NE, surrounds mound from NW->ESE, extending max. distance of 9.1m from edge of mound.
