This c. 200m of relict field boundary runs from high on a ridge in the Shehy Mountains down slope to the southeast where it ends at the edge of an area of deep bog. It also forms part of a townland boundary between Ballynamought to the west and Coomclogh to the east. It survives to a maximum height of c.0.6m and is mostly built of dry-stone walling with a more squared face on the western side. In places it is covered in a thin layer of turf and one stretch seems to have been built of earth only. It runs c.25m to the west of a hut site and crosses a small gully of drier land where it has been partially rebuilt. This is a boundary formed of field stones surviving to a maximum height of 0.5m. It is c.90m in length and runs uphill (south – north) from the better land to the south before swinging to the northeast and finishing around a drier patch of grazing. There is a 2m wide gap in the boundary c two thirds of the way uphill. It would also appear to extend further to the south into an area of partially improved grazing. During field walking for an application for afforestation an unrecorded hut site was found. It is situated close to the top of a ridge in a small valley, sheltered from the west and with open views to the east, in an area of rough mountain grazing It is sub-circular in shape with internal dimensions of 3.1m N-S and 3.2m E-W and walls built of random field stones surviving to a maximum height of 0.4m and 0.9m wide. There is a 1.8m wide gap down-slope to the east which probably once contained the entrance. There is a relict field boundary c25m to the west. A sub-circular hut site situated in a sheltered hollow near the top of a south facing ridge overlooking the upper valley of the River Ouvane to the east. It measures (internally) c3.1m N-S and c.3.2m E_W. The walls are of random fieldstones with a maximum height of 0.4m and width of 0.9m.
