The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 7m) defined by a jumbled stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) which protrudes above the surface of the shallow bog. Rubble is scattered in the level fern-covered interior and externally along the perimeter. The hut site is sheltered by a large rock to the SE. The interior slopes down to the W; there is a fern-covered pile of stones in the E half. The damaged entrance is at NE. Walls radiate from the enclosure at W, NE and SE. In rough hill pasture, on bog covered with moor grass, on a W-facing slope overlooking Glengarriff Harbour. The remains of a network of mainly collapsed, relict, stone field boundaries (T 0.65m; H 0.4m) protrude above the surface of the bog throughout an area measuring c. 350m N-S x c. 200m E-W. The walls comprise both linear and curvilinear stretches, and occasionally disappear under deeper bog in wet hollow areas. While the walls are generally in a jumbled state, several slabs set upright at right angles to the line of the wall were noted. Two hut sites (CO091-016004-, CO091-016006-), a fulacht fia (CO091-016005-) and a burnt mound (CO091-016007-) are within the network of relict field boundaries. In rough hill pasture on bog, on a terrace within a network of field boundaries (CO091-016001-) on a W-facing slope overlooking Glengarriff Harbour. A roughly circular area (diam. 12m) is defined by a stone wall (T 1.3m; H 0.5m), on top of which a later roughly built stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.7m) narrows as it rises. The lower wider courses, protruding from shallow bog, appear to be the remains of the original enclosing element. The upper narrower wall was added in more recent times, probably as a pen for sheep and cattle. The interior is inaccessible due to a dense cover of bushes. Field walls radiate from the enclosure at W, NW and SE. There is a hut site (CO091-016006-) c. 70m to the S and a boulder-burial (CO091-016003) c. 26m to the NW. On a knoll, in rough hill pasture, within a network of field boundaries (CO091-017005-) with excellent views W to Glengarriff Harbour. A rectangular cist (1.1m NE-SW; 0.95m NW-SE; D 0.5m) lined with a single slab on its SW and NW sides, and by two slabs on both its NE and SE sides. The interior is partially filled with bog debris. A slab (1.2m x 0.9m x 0.2m T) lies on the surface immediately to the NW and may have been a cover-stone. A smaller slab (0.85m x 0.55m; x 0.1m T) lies on the ground to the SE. A small mound of stones intermixed with bog debris lies on the ground to the SW and may have been removed from the interior. Two hut sites (CO091-017002-; CO091-017003-) lie c. 40m to the SW. The relict field boundaries protrude above the surface of the bog.
