The present wall appears to be built on the foundations of an older wall and may be related to the remains of a field wall (CO079-001002-), which abuts the enclosure at S. A network of collapsed, mainly curvilinear, relict, stone field boundaries (T 0.7m; H 0.5m) protrude above the surface of the bog in an irregularly shaped area (c. 120m E-W; c. 80m N-S). In a grass-covered boggy area at the foot of a rocky S-facing slope. A partially eroded crescent-shaped mound (9m N-S; 6m E-W; H 1.1m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 3.2m) faces a stream to the E. Traces of burnt material noted 1-3m to the E of the mound are likely to be eroded portions of it. There is an enclosure (CO079-004003-) c. 90m to the NE and relict field boundaries (CO079-002----) c. 100m to the W. The interior is level, except for the N upsloping fern-covered quadrant, where the enclosing element is best preserved. Field boundaries (CO079-004002-) extend to the SW from this enclosure to the area beyond a second enclosure (CO079-004003-) which lies c. 90m to the SW. A roughly rectangular area (10m E-W; 8m N-S) is defined by the remains of stone walls (T 0.5m; H 0.7m) protruding above the surface of the bog at E and W, by the rough faces of outcropping rocks at S and by the face of a bank, which has been cut into the upslope at N. There is a hut site (CO079-005002-) in the level interior. A second enclosure (CO079-004001-) lies c. 30m to the WSW. The enclosing bank narrows as it rises and a stream flows externally along the bank at W. There is a hut site (CO091-025002-) c. 100m to the NNW and a copper mine (CO091-029----) c. 180m to the NE. The remains of a rectangular hut site (4m N-S; 1.6m E-W) defined by the lower courses of a stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.25m) which protrudes above the surface of the shallow bog. The tops of the stones are also visible intermittently in the level interior. This possible hut site may be a booley hut. An enclosure (CO091-025001-) and a copper mine (CO091-029----) lie c. 100m to the SSE and c. 230m to the SE, respectively.
