In pasture, on S side of stream. According to local information, spread of burnt material discovered c. 1976 during drainage works. No visible surface trace. In pasture, on SW-facing slope c. 90m N of Fiddane stream. Roughly circular area (44.5m N-S; 38.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.4m). External fosse survives to N as slight depression at base of bank. Bank incorporated into roadside fence to W and into field fence system to N where some stone facing exists externally.
