Within interior to NE, rectangular area (41m E-W; 36.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.6m) to S and W; slight rise (H 1.1m) to N; NE bank enclosure to E; cultivation ridges run E-W across interior. Double-arch humpback road bridge, built c.1860, spanning Garranefeen Bay. Round-headed arches with ashlar limestone voussoirs and soffit springing from dressed rubble stone piers. Battered buttressed walls to side piers. Rubble stone parapet walls and spandrels with rendered coping.
