Comprises four-bay two-storey west block having gabled porch to front and integral segmental archway to west end, and east block having three-bay first floor and four-bay ground floor. Pitched roofs, slate to west block and artificial slate to east, with rendered chimneystack to latter, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls, lined and ruled to east block. Square-headed openings having timber sliding sash windows, one-over-one pane to first floor and mainly two-over-two pane to ground floor, with limestone and some render sills. Square-headed timber battened door to east block. Ruinous two-storey outbuilding to west with rubble red sandstone walls, square-headed openings, one with timber battened door, with springing of arch to west end. Sandstone piers to entrance and boundary walls to site. Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c. 1675, extended and heightened c. 1750 and in nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with box-bay windows flanking central doorway, and single-storey lean-to flanking additions. Hipped artificial slate roof having rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls, with coursed rubble exposed under decayed render to additions. Squared-headed window openings having rendered sills and replacement uPVC windows. Box-bay windows have hipped slate roofs and square-headed timber casement windows, flanking central door opening. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash window to west gable. Round-headed door opening having timber panelled door with spoked fanlight and flanked by Ionic-style limestone engaged columns with carved decoration to capitals imitating Ionic style, approached by three limestone steps. Square-headed openings with timber doors to additions. Approached by driveway from the south.
