H 2.1m to base of fosse) S->NNE with extant fosse (D 0.9m) WSW->NW, by slight scarp NNE->NE (L c. 15m) which ends at roadway leading to burial ground (14137) from NE, by short section of substantial earthen bank to ENE, levelled for first 4m S of roadway and by steep drop down to floodplain of stream SE->S. Interior slopes gently down to SE; quarry marked on 1842 OS 6-inch map, survives as depression inside bank to W. Burial ground (14137) and possible church (14512) in N half of enclosure. Named 'Burial Ground' on 1905 OS 6-inch map and similarly indicated but without any internal elements. Within N half of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13885). Subrectangular area (c. 95m NW-SE; c. 65m NE-SW) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.4m). Bank stone-faced externally; inner face terraced (H 0.5m; Wth 1.8m) to W and in places to S. Many gravestones present; oldest noted dated 1790; vault on S side; large Murphy family plot in centre. Entrance gateway at N end of E side; short section of stone walling on each side; laneway extends to NNE to join with public road. Burial ground still in use.
