In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope overlooking Owenanare River valley. Oval area (47m E-W; 37.2m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.7m; ext. H 2.2m) with faint trace of fosse as shallow depression to NE and S. Break (Wth 3.6m) in bank to ESE, to S of which is remains of field fence extending out from bank. Limekiln incorporated into W bank; to N of kiln bank disturbed, resulting in break to WNW (Wth 3m) and NW ( Wth 8.9m). At break to NW bank pushed to one side into interior.
