Detached five-bay three-storey house, originally apparently seven-bay and single-storey house of c. 1720, fenestration altered and two storeys added c. 1740, rear part of southern two bays being widened in plan. Three-bay two-storey addition to rear with pitched slate roof, and remains of two-storey addition to north elevation. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and rendered eaves course, lower pitch to rear of two southern bays, and with red-brick chimneystack to rear addition. Flemish bond red brick walls, ground floor being lighter in colour and having blocked narrow openings and reworked window openings. Rendered to side walls and rear. Cast-iron floor vents. Square-headed window openings having tooled limestone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, with Venetian-style window opening to middle bay of first floor. Some replacement timber casement to ground floor of front elevation. Rear addition has replacement three-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows to first floor and replacement timber windows to ground floor. Venetian-style entrance arrangement to front elevation comprising replacement timber panelled door and timber sidelights all set into moulded limestone surround with moulding limestone cornice. Square-headed door opening to north side of rear addition having replacement half-glazed timber door in open-sided lean-to porch.
