However, present church of mid- to late-19th century appearance; rectangular structure with attached tower at W end and shallow rectangular chancel at E end, lean-to vestry at E end of S wall. E elevation has central breakfront with a niche on either side. Top of kiln enclosed by castellated wall with oculus on E side. Funnel (diam. c. 2m). Ramp on N side.
