The plot measures 36yds diam...Surrounding fence partially levelled...A large number of headstones, c. 6ins. high mark the sites of graves. Local tradition says that a priest is buried here'. According to local information used as famine burial ground and as burial place of soldiers killed in "Cromwellian Battle" in Cullen and in use up to 1900.
