In pasture, on S-facing slope. Rectangular stone (H 1.85m; 0.7m x 0.5m) aligned E-W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. - CO135-136: Mass-rock, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CCO135-136----. Incorporated into a boundary fence on the N side of the road. This possible mass-rock comprises a flat-topped sandstone block (L 0.74m; Wth 0.29m; H 0.5m) which features a number of rough linear marks on the E end and one on the W end of the upper surface. The stone was uncovered during cleaning back of the boundary and reported to the NMI in 1965. According to local information, when the stone was found there was a cross marked on it but it has since faded. The adjacent road is known as a famine road and there is a local tradition of a mass-rock in the townland. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Detached L-plan four-bay two-storey house, dated 1887, with remains of porch to front (south) and rendered pediment to rear (north). Currently unoccupied. Hipped and pitched slate roof with uPVC clad eaves course, rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls to front (south) and side (east, west) elevations with exposed rubble limestone walls to rear. Rendered platband and inscribed date plaque within moulded rendered surround to rear pediment. Square and camber-headed window openings with rendered sills throughout, having occasional remains of two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows, remainder boarded up. Round-headed door opening to front elevation. Camber-headed door opening with red brick voussoirs to rear elevation. Doors absent throughout. Detached two-bay single-storey outbuilding to west, having hipped slate roof with rendered and exposed rubble stone eaves and rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls having square-headed window opening with slate sill and timber casement window. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door.
