Internal diam. c. 20m. About half the circumference of what appears to have been a circular stone-walled enclosure survives from NNW to SSE. A short stretch survives on the ESE. The enclosing wall is 1m wide. The outer face is made up of irregularly spaced large stones on edge and the inner, of smaller stones also on edge. The space between the two faces is grassed over. The site is on a gentle W to E downward slope in an area of rock outcrop. Grazing is plentiful. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A holy well known as Turas Davaddog. A pool of water fed by a spring. A stream runs to the S from the well and there is a graveyard (DG008-016----) 25m to the S. Described by Ó Muirgheasa in 1936 as 'Turus Davaddog, at Tobar Dhumha Mhoir, south-west of Cashel N. S., in Fanad. Stations are made any time, but most usually on St. Patrick's Day and 15th August' (Ó Muirgheasa 1936, 154). (Ó Muirgheasa No. 71) The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. Marked as a 'graveyard' on the OS 6-inch maps, the site consists of an ill-defined area of rises and hollows and a scatter of stones set on edge in the ground. The stones cover an area in maximum extent of about 13m N-S and about 20m E-W. Some, and may be all, of these stones are grave-markers, but 5 of them, arranged intermittently along the southern limit of the stone scatter, may be the remains of a perimeter edge. The site is on a level stretch of sandy ground in an area marked by ridges of rock outcrop. There is grazing available today.
