The holy well marked on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps could not be traced. Nearby was found a portion of a rotary quern now in the Rossnowlagh Museum. Internal diam. c. 15.5m. Rathnacross, a circular area enclosed by a stone and earthen bank c. 0.5m high. A gap in the NE sector affords the only possible site for an entrance. There is a semicircular hollow (2.5m in diam. and 0.8m deep) in the SE quadrant which may have been a modern lime kiln. Near the centre of the site is an oval pit 2m × 1.25m and 0.6m deep. This may mark the site of the 'standing stone' marked on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map. This stone no longer survives. It is situated on a high ridge commanding an area of marshy pasture land. Local tradition claims that a termon cross (DG105-002002-) stood within the site and gave it its name. This could possibly be identified with the 'standing stone' above. The site is said to have been on the route to the pilgrimage site of Lough Derg. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
