The single-ringed enclosure shown on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map is now represented by an oval area c. 10m N-S and c. 20m E-W defined by an earthen bank, .5m high on the NW, field boundaries on the W and NE and a scarped edge .3m high on the S. The site is located on a gentle NW to SE slope in good pasture. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' ## Architectural heritage (National Inventory of Architectural Heritage)

- Presbytery/parochial/curate's house, 1860–1880, Regional interest, registry number 40903620, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=DG&regno=40903620. Detached three-bay single-storey presbytery with attic floor, built c.1870, having lean-to extension to side. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, overhanging eaves with decorative exposed rafter ends, two gabled dormer windows to front with plain bargeboards, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with raised rendered plinth. Front and southeast side elevations have square-headed windows to ground floor and round-headed to first floor, with double four-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, and rear and northwest side elevations have one-over-two pane windows, all with concrete sills. Pointed segmental-arch doorway with timber panelled door, plain fanlight and single step. Four-bay single-storey outbuilding to rear with two-bay addition to one side and lean-to open shed to other, having pitched slate roof with render copings, rubble stone walls, square-headed openings with segmental relieving arches, timber battened doors and sliding door; windows boarded up. Building stands at right angle to road, with garden to front, and square-plan piers with decorative metal gate. Rendered boundary walls to front with round coping, and rubble stone boundary wall to rear. Mature trees to site. Located close to Saint Brigid's Church.
- Saint Brigid's Catholic Church, church/chapel, 1860–1880, Regional interest, registry number 40903621, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=DG&regno=40903621. Freestanding Catholic church, built c.1870, having four-bay nave and single-storey extension. Pitched slate roof with render copings, kneeler stones with inset trefoil motif, stone cross finials to apexes, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth-render raised quoins and plinth. Pointed-arch window openings, double to nave, with raised render surrounds and timber sliding sash windows. Round-arch stained-glass window to gable. Decorative pointed-arch fixed timber window over entrance. Pointed-arch doorway with timber battened door; square-headed doorway to extension. Small pitched-roof canopy above bell, fixed to wall beside main entrance. Building set back from road, enclosed within rendered boundary wall with square-plan rendered piers having decorative metal gate, with stepped approach. Interior has suspended timber panelled ceiling with exposed timber purlins, raised altar with decorative timber balustrade, timber panelled confessionals beside altar with decorative timber cornice, one stained-glass window above altar, simple timber pews, internal porch with glazing, and raised area with timber balustrade for organ inside entrance.
