A programme of assessment and testing was carried out at by Eoghan Kieran of Moore Archaeological and Environmental Services under licence No. 06E1116 at Navenny, Ballybofey Co. Donegal. The assessment was designed to fulfil planning conditions attached to two planning applications. The assessment area was divided into four areas, Fields A–D. Testing recorded the presence of significant archaeological deposits in the north-eastern corner of Field B. These deposits consisted of the remains of a corn-drying kiln and a burnt pit.
