In pasture, located on slightly elevated, level ground broken by low outcropping of limestone bedrock, overlooked c. 100m to NW by the steeply rising S slope of Twomilestone ridge. There is a natural dip in ground level c. 10m to N in which there is a small pool of standing water. This small enclosure consists of a subcircular area (9m N−S; 10m E−W) defined on the perimeter by remnants of a wall evident as a low sod-covered stony rise (Wth 1.4-1.6m; H 0.2-0.3m). The wall appears more substantial (Wth 2m) along the SW arc but in general is poorly defined and gapped, especially at NNE-E. The interior is level with a somewhat uneven surface dotted with moss-covered stones. In the NW end of a rectangular field of pasture, broken by limestone bedrock. This possible hut site consists of a roughly square area (int. dim. 4.2m N−S; 4.5m E−W) defined by a sod-covered bank (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m) of earth and stone. The W side is gapped and poorly preserved, and it is possible that there may have been an entrance on this side. The interior is flat. Beside it are two similar monuments (DG107-023002, DG107-023001-). The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. In pasture, located on level ground, stone-strewn and broken by seams of limestone bedrock, and traversed by relict field walls, overlooked to N by the steeply rising slope of Twomile Stone ridge. Ground falls away gradually to S, giving good views of surrounding pastureland. This cashel has been levelled and its outline is barely discernible. It consists of a subcircular or broadly oval area (c. 22.5m E–W; c. 20m N–S) defined by wall footings. The wall is evident as a very low moss- and sod-covered stony rise (Wth c. 1.5-2m) which can be traced in a broad curve E–WNW but is more difficult to trace elsewhere. Relict field walls, also evident as little more than low stony rises, radiate from the enclosure at SW, W and NNE, and a ruined field wall bisects the interior on a ENE–WSW axis. There is a partly collapsed, stone-built souterrain (DG107-125001-) in the E half of the interior. Located in the E half of a cashel (DG107-125----). This partly collapsed souterrain is evident on the surface as a stony, slightly sunken linear feature (L 8m E-W) extending to W into the cashel interior from the enclosing wall on the E side of the cashel. It is not clear if it also extends beneath the ruined cashel wall. At its E end, a length (L 4m E-W) of drystone-built passage with a roof of stone lintels remains largely intact but inaccessible. To W of this section, the line of the souterrain is evident only as a grassed-over, shallow surface depression (L 4m E-W; Wth 1.5m; max D 0.5m).
