Located on a NE facing slope under rough pasture. Comprises a raised circular area which is defined by a bank (H 0.50-0.60m) running SW-NE and elsewhere a scarp (max. ext. diam. 15.50m). There is an entrance ramp in the NE. Some stones are visible in the bank along the NW-NE. Local tradition records a church at the site (Hegarty 1939, 70; Price 1944, 112; Healy 1974, 25) - DU021-060002: Graveyard, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CDU021-060002-. Located on a NE facing slope under rough pasture. There is a tradition of a graveyard at this site(Price, 1944, 107-118). There is no visible evidence for same. - DU024-027001: Cairn - unclassified, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CDU024-027001-. Situated on a rise in a natural plateau on the NE side of Tallaght Hill which is in rough upland pasture. An elongated grass-covered cairn (L 16.7m; Wth 13m; H 1.15m). It is partially defined by a stone circle (DU024-027002-) of sixteen irregularly spaced boulders of granite and conglomerate. Handcock (1991, 151, 2nd ed. ) identified a chamber in the cairn surrounded by a circle of stones. McDix (1925, 26) described an inner circle of stones (diam.2.7m). Compiled by: Geraldine Stout and Padraig Clancy Revised upload on: 7 July 2018 - DU024-027002: Stone circle, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CDU024-027002-. Situated on a rise in a natural plateau on the NE side of Tallaght Hill. A stone circle comprised of a series of 14 irregularly spaced boulders of granite and conglomerate which appear to delimit rather than define a cairn (DU024-027001-). There is a triangular-shaped granite boulder at W (H 1.5m; L 0.9m; Wth 0.6m) and a large recumbent conglomerate (H 1.05m; L 1.3m; Wth 1.2m) almost directly opposite. Mc Dix (1925, 26) mentions an inner circle of stones (diam. c. 2.7m) but this is not apparent at the time of inspection. Situated on a natural plateau on the NE side of Tallaght Hill which is in rough upland pasture. A stone circle indicated on the 1843 OS 6-inch map. There are no visible remains of the site. Further S are a number of irregular granite boulders in no apparent pattern. These stones are locally referred to as 'Horan's Stones', after Malachy Horan who was a resident of the area many years ago (Healy 1975, 1-19). Situated in open rough pasture on top of Tallaght hill. A circular mound (diam 57m, H 9m) shown as an earthwork on the 1843 OS 6-inch map. This is a distinctive landmark on the hill and is probably partly natural. It lies close to a mound with a stone circle (DU024-028----). In 1995 ploughing on the hill skirted the W side of the monument.
