A gap is evident at NE. The NE section of the fosse is now used as a watering place for cattle. The outer bank is best preserved from NW to NE. A grassed-over bank abuts the monument at SSW. It runs SE for 33.5m towards a terrace; it may be associated with the rath. A standing stone (GA105-230----) lies c. 40m to the E.
