On a low hill in gently undulating grassland. A well-preserved rectangular cist (NW-SE; L 1.8m, Wth 1.2m, H 1m) roofed by a single capstone; a smaller displaced stone probably capped NW corner. Traces of a low cairn (NE-SW 58.6m, N-S 54m, H 1.5m) are visible around it. According to local information, the monument was being quarried until the 'grave' was found.
