On a low rise in undulating farmland. Rectangular moated site (N-S 53m, E-W 38m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Both banks are overgrown with trees and bramble. A modern field wall cuts the monument at N and S. A limekiln is built into the inner bank at SE and a second possible example is visible at W.
