At N edge of a field system (GA106-056001-). This poorly preserved circular enclosure (diam. 24m) is defined by a low grassed-over stony bank. A field wall cuts its N sector and to the N of it no visible surface trace survives. Possibly a cashel. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 26 February 2019 - GA106-166: Enclosure, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CGA106-166----. On the S-facing slope of a rise in pastureland. Aerial reconnaissance in November 1987 (ASGAP 379: 88A, 89) revealed a fairly well-preserved circular enclosure (diam. 60m) cut by a boreen from N to S. Apart from traces of a bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.2m) at N and S, the line of the enclosing element is indicated by a rise which is revetted internally by an intermittent line of large boulders. To E of the boreen, the interior of the monument appears to be hollowed out. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
