In low-lying grassland. A large poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (NNW-SSE 78m) defined by a drystone wall from WNW through N to SSE. Gap at ENE appears modern. A field wall cuts the monument at WNW and SSE, to SW of which the enclosing element is visible only as a grassed-over bank. A CBG (GA056-092002-) lies in E sector of the interior. When coupled with the td. name, the physical remains suggest that the monument is ecclesiastical in nature. Irregular overgrown area (NNE-SSW 40m, WNW-ESE 27.5m) defined by a field wall, which may overlie an earlier wall along S, W and N sides, and by the bank of the enclosure at E. Within the interior, numerous randomly placed set stones, including a number of rectangular plots, indicate graves. In low-lying marshy grassland prone to flooding, c. 100m S of a stream. A low grassed-over roughly D-shaped platform (E-W 14.5m, N-S 7.8m, H 0.5m) composed of earth and stone. Two hollows occupy the flat summit of the platform: possibly a house with traces of an internal division. An old field boundary, running WNW-ESE, comprising a line of boulders clips the monument along its S side. - Plum Cottage, house, 1780–1820, Regional interest, registry number 30405609, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=GA&regno=30405609. Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, with dormer attic, porch to front, and slightly lower return to rear. Pitched thatched roof with decorative knotting to raised ridge, rendered stone copings, and having one rendered chimneystack to middle of ridge. Pitched thatched roof to return and lean-to thatched roof to porch. Rendered walls with plinth course and timber eaves course. Square-headed window openings with replacement uPVC windows, painted stone sills and timber sheeted door.
