In level pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 246, no. 19) as a circular ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. c. 40m), defined by two banks and an intervening fosse, which was ‘breached and destroyed on the west side’. There was an entrance gap (Wth c. 1.8m) to the E. The monument has been levelled and was evident as a circular area of longer grass and nettles. On a NE-facing slope. Described by McCaffrey (1952, 246, no. 56a) as a very denuded circular ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. 36.6m). It is defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3m; H c. 0.3-0.5m), roughly D-shaped in plan (c. 20m NE-SW) with straight SW side (L c. 30m). On a slight hill in reclaimed pastureland. According to McCaffrey (1952, 29, no. 19b; 1955, 225), this circular ring-barrow (diam. c. 23m), comprising a low flat-topped mound (diam. c. 14m; H 0.3m) encircled by a fosse and external bank, was overgrown with furze. Cultivation ridges ran across it and numerous pits were visible in its S and W sectors. It was further damaged by an 'old ditch' which cut across it at S. No visible surface trace survives. According to McCaffrey (1952, 29, no. 19a; 1955, 225), this was a circular ring-barrow (diam. c. 13m) comprising a low flat-topped mound (diam. c. 7m; H 0.3m) encircled by a fosse and external bank. In a turlough c. 15m to the S of a channel of the Dunkellin River. This crannog (diam. 30m; H 3m) is defined by a circular tree-covered cairn of stones, which is delimited by a low drystone wall of large blocks. Near its summit, a roughly rectangular enclosure (L 3m; Wth 1.5m) constructed of drystone walling, one course high, may be a modern feature possibly associated with 'duck-hunters' who used the site for concealment (McCaffrey 1952, 43, no. 1). On a rise in pastureland. This poorly preserved oval-shaped burial ground (33m NE-SW; 14m NW-SE) is defined by a drystone wall. The interior is overgrown with ash trees and nettles. Between 15 and 20 graves were noted. They were aligned ENE-WSW and consisted of small slab-lined graves with uninscribed head and footstones. They varied in length from 1m to 1.8m and the headstones were between 0.2m and 0.4m high. They were concentrated in the S and W sectors of the burial ground.
