An opening to this souterrain is located at the NE side of a NW-SE field boundary in an area of level pasture a short distance NNE of Glan Lough, Immediately inside the opening is a sheer drop of at least 2m into what appears to be an oval-shaped lintelled chamber with sides of earth.
