In rough pasture, on an E-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River with Mucksna Mountain to the W. A short section (L c. 7m) of a relict field wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.2m), on an E-W axis, protrudes above the surface of the bog. Drainage works have taken place in the area. An enclosure (KE093-086002-) is c. 60m to the E and a wedge tomb (KE093-086003-) c. 60m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. In reclaimed pasture, on a level break on an E-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. Recorded in 1999 as a roughly D-shaped area (12.6m N-S) with the straight side at S (L c. 18m) defined by a low, partly grass-covered, drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 1m). Some upright stones were set at right angles to the line of the wall and the S wall contained crude boulders. The entrance (Wth 1m) was at the W end of the S side. The S portion of the interior had been cut into a gentle upslope and the N portion had been raised slightly to give a level interior. A small rectangular setting of stones near the centre of the enclosure appeared to be of relatively recent date. On a subsequent inspection in 2007 there were no visible remains of this enclosure, the land having been reclaimed and reseeded. There is a relict field boundary (KE093-086001-) is c. 60m to the W and a wedge tomb (KE093-086003-) c. 60m to the SSW. In rough pasture with occasional rock outcropping, on a break on the lower E-facing slopes of Mucksna Mountain. A wedge-shaped chamber (L 2.2m; Wth c. 1m at the NNW end; Wth 0.65m at the SSE end) is aligned NNW-SSE. A single upright sidestone forms each side and a single backstone closes the SSE end. The roofstone (L 2m; Wth 1.5m; T 0.2m) has slipped to the SE where one end of it rests on the ground; the centre of the roofstone rests on the E sidestone. Two heavily leaning slabs, amid a scatter of prostrate stones near the NNW end, may represent an antechamber. A possible outer wall is suggested by a low upright stone amid the rubble to the E of the chamber. An enclosure (KE093-086002-) lies c. 60m to the NNE and a relict field boundary (KE093-086001-) c. 60m to the NW. In rough pasture, close to a stream on an E-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. According to local information, a mound of burnt stone and black earth which existed here was levelled and the burnt material spread during reclamation works.
