Situation and Description: This well lies SW of a levelled burial ground (KE016-029----). The well is thought to have been dedicated to St Brigid. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 925. This site is possibly the 'Old burial ground near a well (KE016-028----) called "Tobar Ui Leidhin" that Ó Danachair (1958) refers to. It is now much levelled and is cut by a fieldbank running in a NW-SE direction. The site consists of a sub-circular earthen bank which is low and wide. It measures c 8m in width at the base of the bank, with the external height measuring .6m-.8m and the internal height .4m-.8m. In the interior is a semi-circular enclosure measuring internally 10m N-S and 12m E-W, with the in-curve facing NNE. The overall internal diameter measures 54m N-S and 40m E-W.
