A rectangular gable-ended residental house with a three-bay two-storey front elevation and a steeply-pitched slate roof. There is a one-storey addition on the N gable and a blocked-up archway in a wall running out from the S gable. This archway led to a yard at the rear which is enclosed by a range of two-storey outhouses. Although Bary (1994, 183) claims that 'it is probable that it dates to the sixteenth century', nothing in the present appearance of the house is earlier than the 18th century. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
