Immediately W of this site is the boundary between this townland and Carhoonakineely. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank. The enclosing bank survives to a maximum height of .8m externally and .6m internally. The width of the bank at the base averages 5m.
