Located in a commanding position on the lower SW slopes of Knocklomena mountain and overlooking the valley of the Kealduff river to W, this stone row, not marked on the OS maps, is divided by a field boundary. It consists of three stones orientated NNW-SSE, the northernmost of which lies prostrate on one side of the boundary. Positioned 2.6m apart, the upright stones are rectangular in elevation and measure 1.2m x .7m x .65m and 1m x .9m x .66m; the latter stone is partly incorporated into the field boundary. The prostrate stone lies 2m to NNW and measures 1.5m x .68m x .55m; between it and the field boundary lie two smaller prostrate slabs, whose significance is unclear. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 104. In rough hill pasture, on blanket bog, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Kealduff River and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE083-019002-). A D-shaped area (12m E-W) defined by the lower courses of a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.9m) with a straight E side (L 8m) which is formed by a relict boundary wall of the field system. The drystone wall of the enclosure narrows as it emerges above the bog surface. The interior slopes down to the S. In rough hill pasture, on blanket bog, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Kealduff River. Traces of mainly curvilinear, stone field boundaries (T 0.5m; H 0.4m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog and cover a roughly rectangular area (c. 330m N-S; c. 195m E-W). Several gaps were noted in the walls where the stones run on into deeper bog. Within the network of walls are three hut sites (KE083-019003-, KE083-019004-, KE083-019005-) and an enclosure (KE083-019001-).
