It is now defined by an arc of a scarp (L 16m; H 1.45m) SSE-SSW faced with large stones. Field-clearance rubble is piled against the scarp face. The scarp is faced by a partially collapsed, drystone wall (Wth c. 1m). Sections of the inner and outer faces of the wall have been recently rebuilt. There is a damaged entrance (Wth 2.1m) at NE. The SE portion of the interior is raised (H 0.65m) to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is level. Field-clearance rubble is piled against the external wall-face at irregular intervals from E to W. Field boundaries abut the cashel at NNE, SE and SSW. The remains of mainly curvilinear stone walls (T 0.6m; H 0.6m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog and indicate an extensive network of relict field walls in an area measuring c. 850m NE-SW x c. 480m NW-SE. Several gaps occur in the network where the walls run on into bog. Upright stones, set at right angles to the line of the wall, were noted in several places. In rough grazing, on a S-facing slope. A wedge-shaped chamber (L 3.7m; Wth 1.1m at the E end; Wth 1.35m at the W end), aligned E-W, is closed at the E end by a single backstone. The N and S sides are each composed of three sidestones. The tomb is covered by a single roofstone (2.75m x 1.87m; T 0.3m). A prostrate stone lies immediately to the SW of the tomb. In rough hill pasture, on a SE-facing slope of Barraduff Mountain. The partially collapsed remains of a limekiln, rectangular in plan (3.9m SW-NE; 3.5m NW-SE). Front faces SE and rear has been cut into upslope. Surviving façade (H c. 1m) is built of large slab-like stones without the use of mortar. Lintelled recess (H 0.75m; Wth 0.6m; D 1.2m) with rectangular ope (H 0.15m; Wth 0.45m) at base of rear. Circular stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.4m) partly filled with collapsed material.
