In pasture, on the lower NW-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana. A roughly semicircular area (dim. c. 34m SE-NW) is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.6m) NE-W and by a linear scarp (L 33m; Wth 3.6m; H 1.75m) at NW. There is a possible causeway entrance (Wth 2.9m) at ENE. The NW portion of the interior is raised and the SE portion is cut into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. A stone field boundary skirts the external edge of the bank at NE. An indistinct overgrown field boundary skirts the rath externally along the SW arc. The rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1846 and 1894-5 OS 6-inch maps. The entrance (Wth 1.4m) is in the E wall, to the N of the centre. There is a possible enclosure (KE068-036----) c. 50m to the NW. In rough pasture, on the N-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana. A circular area (19.4m E-W; 19m N-S) defined by a grass-covered collapsed stone wall (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.2m), on top of which is built a drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 1.4m) of uneven height. A break (Wth 1.6m) at ESE may indicate an entrance. Lazybeds run N-S across the interior, which is partially obscured by rushes and ferns. A recent drain is close to the W side. An irregular-shaped annexe (8m N-S; 7.2m E-W), defined by a similar drystone wall, abuts the rath externally at N; the entrance (Wth 1m) to the annexe is at SE close to where the annex wall meets the cashel wall. In rough hill pasture, on the lower N-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana. A partially collapsed circular drystone-built hut (3m E-W; 2.5m N-S), the substantial lower courses of which suggest that it was a hut site which was modified as a sheepfold. The wall (T 0.7m; H 1m) is highest along the W arc but decreases in height to 0.2m at the entrance at E. A small opening at the base of the wall at NW leads to a drystone-built annexe (c. 1m x 1m) roofed with slabs which also support part of the hut wall. The remains of a wall extending outwards from the hut wall at SE may have served as a lead-in for sheep. The function of an external stone-covered depression along the S arc and an accompanying low earthen bank is unclear. The site of a possible hut site (KE068-168----) lies c. 40m to the WSW. In undulating rough pasture, at the foot of the N slopes of The Paps of Dana. An oval area (46m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 1.6m; ext. H 1.4m), partially obscured by overgrowth and topped with a stone wall, SW-SE and by a scarp (Wth 2.8m; H 1m) SE-SW. The entrance (Wth 4m) is at N. The interior is under pasture and slopes down to the S. Field boundaries abut the bank at N and SE. The bank of the rath forms the townland boundary N-SE. The remains of a roughly circular hut (6m N-S; 5m E-W) defined by the well-constructed, lower courses of a collapsed stone wall (T 1.8m; H 1.5m). The wall consists of random rubble and is best preserved along the W arc. A collapsed N-S drystone wall in the centre of the interior may be a later addition. There is an entrance (Wth 1m) at E. Rubble is scattered within the E half of the interior and also along the perimeter, both internally and externally. In rough hill pasture, on the lower N-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana and c. 40m WSW of a hut site (KE068-043----). There are no visible remains of the small oval structure (diam. c. 4m) named 'sheepfold' on the 1894 OS 6-inch map and the possibility remains that it, like its neighbour (KE068-043----), may have been a hut site which was modified as a sheepfold. In rough pasture, on the summit of The East Pap of Dana, with unbroken views in all directions. A well-preserved, roughly oval cairn (c. 15m E-W; c. 10.5m N-S; max. H c. 3.8m) composed of loose stones. The base of the cairn, which is largely intact, is constructed of stone slabs laid horizontally. The E portion of the cairn is damaged as are the upper levels, where stones have been removed to construct a modern cairn (diam. c. 2.3m; H c. 1.8m) on top of the original cairn. A walkway feature (Wth 0.5-1m; max. H 1.4m above the outer ground level) extends around inside the cairn NW-NE and SE-SW. Loose stones are scattered around the perimeter.
