In pasture, on a slight W-facing slope. A circular area (c. 33.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) defined by a low rise (ext. H c. 0.6m) NE-NW, by a scarp NW-NNW and elsewhere by a WNW-ESE field boundary which truncates the N sector. The internal face of the bank slopes gently into the interior. A slight trace of a fosse is visible along the E and S arcs. The interior is level. According to local information, a large stone slab was removed from the W sector when the rath was being levelled in the 1950s. In pasture, on a S-facing slope, with a view to Magillycuddy's Reeks. The remains of an enclosure (82m N-S; 76m E-W) defined by traces of a low earthen bank (Wth c. 2.5m; H 0.3m) NE-NW. There are intermittent, faint traces of an internal fosse (Wth 10m; D 0.4m). A children's burial ground (KE048-113002-) and an ogham stone (KE048-113003-) are in the interior. According to Dennehy (2001, 20-3), the occurrence of the ogham stone and ceallúnach together suggests the possibility that the enclosure is ecclesiastical in nature. (Dennehy 2001, 20-23). A roughly rectangular raised area (14m N-S; 13m E-W; H 0.35m) containing low uninscribed stone grave-markers (H 0.2m) set intermittently throughout the area. In the 1940s it was recorded that unbaptized children were buried here and that the field was called 'Páirc na Cille' (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry), the name by which it is still known. There is an ogham stone (KE048-113003-) in the NW corner of the children's burial ground. There is an ogham inscription which reads '…CIRE…or '...CUORE…' along the SW arris. This inscription extends below the ground. The top of the stone appears to have been broken off.
