In level pasture, on the valley floor of a small stream, to the E of Esknabrock Hill. A circular area (12.5m E-W; 12m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.45m). The bank along the E arc is higher (ext. H 0.6m) and is flanked on its outer face by numerous upright stones. The inner face of the bank along the SW arc is also revetted by upright stones. The bank is obscured by field-clearance rubble which is piled up against it from SW-NW and intermittently between NW and SW. The interior, which is obscured by undergrowth and sitka spruce trees, was used as a children's burial ground (KE085-008001-). - Morley's Bridge National School, school, 1855–1860, Regional interest, registry number 21308501, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=KE&regno=21308501. Detached five-bay single-storey over battered raised platform schoolhouse, dated 1856, with three-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to centre. Now ruinous. Pitched and hipped slate roofs with timber collar trusses and rendered chimneystack having dentilated band. Rendered rubble stone walls with plaque to porch. Tooled limestone sills to timber six-over-six pane sliding sash windows. Timber boarded door. Profiled ceiling and timber boarded doors to interior. Located high above roadway on plinth formed by coursed stone retaining wall battered at corners.
