However, today it appears as an irregularly shaped enclosure which slopes greatly to the E and S, thus making the interior much lower than the surrounding land. This burial ground measures 40.65m N-S, 21m E-W internally and 45m N-S, 39m E-W externally. A mound measuring 4m x 4m internally can be found in the NW sector of the interior. Internal diameter 28.4m N-S, 29.6m E-W Situated in the corner of a field, this site is bounded to the N and W by fieldbanks. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular interior enclosed by an earthen bank 4m wide, raised 1.6m above the fosse and c .9m above the interior. The enclosing fosse measures 2m in width and .5m below the height of the surrounding land. Two main gaps exist in the bank NE and SSE, measuring 3m and 2.6m in width respectively. Internal diameter 26m N-S, 30m E-W This site is a univallate rath situated in the corner of a field, with fieldbanks to the W and SE. The earthen enclosing bank is 4.8m wide at the base and rises to a maximum height of 2m externally and 1.4m above the interior. The fosse, which is evident from the NW through N to E, is 1.4m wide and c .5m below the height of the surrounding land. It is difficult to distinguish the fosse since the fort is bounded by the fieldbanks, thus distorting the picture. Situated in poorly drained scrubland 160m NNE of a ringfort (KE005-027----), and 20m S of the townland boundary with Kilcock Lower. Outline of ring-barrow (approx. overall diam. 16m) visible as a circular area of scrub on the Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSI) 1995 Black & White aerial orthophotograph. On the OSI 2005 orthophotograph it is visible as a central circular-shaped mound enclosed by an inner fosse and outer bank. The monument is clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photograph.
