- KE066-019: Souterrain, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CKE066-019----. In pasture, on a level area c. 100m N of a road. There are no visible remains of this souterrain though the ground in the immediate area is uneven. It was described in the 1850s (Hitchcock 1854, 2) as having an E-W passage, 'about 17 feet [5.18m] long' with an average breath of 'three feet [0.91m]' and an average height of 'four feet [1.21m]', leading via a creepway to a circular corbelled chamber. The passage was stone-built, but also partially rock-cut, and was roofed with lintels. The creepway measured 'two feet [0.6m] high by one and a half feet [0.45m] broad' and was partially rock-cut. The chamber measured 'five feet [1.52m] broad by six feet [1.82m] long' and 'about six feet [1.82m] high' and was roofed with lintels. It was also noted that some small bones and bone fragments were found in the chamber. In 1939 it was noted that the entrance to it was covered in (SMR file).
