In pasture, on a N-facing slope. The remains of a rath are evident as a circular area (diam. 18m) defined by faint traces of an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m; H 0.05m). According to local information, the rath was levelled many years ago. It was indicated as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on the 1893-4 OS 6-inch map. There is a possible souterrain (KE067-073001-) in the interior. This is probably the rath, in which was a 'cavern', which was recorded in Tullaha townland in the 1840s (OSNB, Killaha, no. 2, 8). In a rath (KE067-073----). According to local information, a souterrain was closed when the rath was levelled many years ago. There are no visible remains of this possible souterrain. It is probably the spacious 'cavern' with 'several apartments' which was described in the 1840s (OSNB, Killaha, no. 2, 8).
