It is 54 km in length and travels from Kinnegad 110 kV substation in Killaskillen (County Meath) and traverses southeast where a short loop into Dunfirth 110 kV substation in Dunfirth (County Kildare) exists. The line then continues southeast where it terminates at Rinawade 110kV substation in Rinawade Lower (County Kildare). The OHL has a total of 249no. supporting structures. Within the functional area of Kildare County Council, there is 30.66 km of the existing OHL circuit, with 140 no. structures. Within the functional area of Meath County Council there is 23.16 km, with 107 no. structures, and within the functional area of Offaly County Council there is 0.42 km, with 2 no. structures. Separate planning applications will be lodged with Meath County Council and Offaly County Council. The proposed development within Co. A square stone (dims. c. 0.2m; c. 0.2m) carrying a face carved in low relief showing the eyes with lids and pupils, the lips placed off-centre below a broad, flared nose, and with 'crew-cut' style hair in pocked relief. In open, level, poorly drained pasture. A poorly preserved, rectangular area (int. dims. L c. 29m N-S; Wth c. 25m) is defined by a low, inner earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.7m; ext H 0.8m) and by a shallow outer fosse (Wth 4.5-5m; D 0.2m). The external corner at NW is truncated by a modern field bank. The site is shown as being tree-covered on the latest ed. In September 2010, the National Museum of Ireland were informed of the accidental discovery of burial remains. A subsequent inspection determined that during the bulldozing of the top of a low hill, the machine operator noticed bones in the disturbed soil and informed the authorities.
