Circular area (diam. 55m) surrounded by a low bank planted with trees, and a shallow external fosse filled with field boulders. Nine low concentric earthen banks cover the interior. Monument has the general appearance of having been landscaped. Monument lies slightly downslope, rather than enclosing the summit of the hill. Shown on 1907 OS 6-inch map as a roughly triangular area enclosed by a bank (max. diam. c. 70m). Situated in a wooded area which appears to have been quarried at one time. The bank is fairly massive (H. c. 1.5m (outside); c. 2.5m (inside) due to location on slope), and is best preserved at W. There is a large, earthfast granite boulder to the S of centre has the so-called imprints of St Patrick's feet, crozier point and an incised cross. The now blocked well (KD040-010002-) is mentioned by Jackson (JKAS 1979-80, 140). Fixed to the graveyard wall at Knockpatrick (KD040-010----) but reputedly found near the Nunnery at Graney (KD040-015----). A slightly tapering granite slab (dims. H 0.75m; Wth 0.31-0.37m; T 0.18m), the base and right-hand edge of which are obscured by concrete, carry's a ringed cross (diam. 0.31m) with splayed terminals and stem, carved in low relief. At the junction of cross and stem is a bulbous feature (diam. 0.11m); possibly a boss or knop. Extending diagonally from this feature are two diagonal appendages, interpreted by Harbison (1989-91, +) as representing ribbons. The possible original location of the slab is designated KD040-015001-. Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, extant 1837, on a rectangular plan. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with ridge tiles, rendered red brick Running bond chimney stacks having capping, and remains of cast-iron rainwater goods on slate flagged eaves. Lime rendered coursed rubble stone battered walls with rough cut granite flush quoins to corners. Segmental-headed central door opening with overgrown threshold, and cut-granite monolithic surround centred on keystone framing timber panelled door with fanlight now missing. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed red brick block-and-start surrounds framing six-over-six (ground floor) or two-over-two (first floor) timber sash windows. Square-headed central door opening to rear (west) elevation with lintel framing timber boarded door.
